Towards TheRout_Net thematic touristic paths…
Thanks to TheRout_Net 17 monuments and buildings, 10 in Greece and 7 in Puglia, are being restored, renovated and refurbished to host touristic services and accommodations, cultural activities, exhibitions, public spaces and info points, with the aim of both creating a thematic touristic product and becoming reference points within the cross-border area.
In fact, Greece and Italy are two countries with cultural heritage and natural assets of rare value, where tourism plays a crucial role for the economic growth. Developing thematic tourism, with the production of new integrated competitive products and services, is an opportunity to offer a complex and attractive touristic package to visitors from all over the world.
